Vriens & Partners Lunch Briefing, “The German Elections and the Future of Europe and the Euro” was held on 24 Sept 2013. Jan F. He argued that the latest results of the German elections are probably bad for Germany but good for Europe and the Euro. He further detailed the various possibilities of the make up of the coalition government in Germany and the impact on future policies in the country. He concluded that Chancellor Angela Merkel’s influence is at its peak and things will only go down from here on.
