Professor Kyaw Min Htun
Professor Kyaw Min Htun has 40 years experience in teaching and research on the Myanmar economy. He retired in 2011 as pro-rector of Yangon Institute of Economics (YIE). He is currently a course coordinator for the Master of Banking and Finance at the Myanmar Institute of Banking, and a member of the Board of Examiners for Master and PhD thesis at YIE.
Professor Kyaw Min Htun has written about the macroeconomic environment and governance of Myanmar as well as trade relations with China, India and ASEAN. He has taken part in various research projects sponsored by institutions such as the Sasakawa Peace Foundation and the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). Professor Kyaw Min Htun studied at Yangon Institute of Economics and the University of Kobe in Japan.Professor Kyaw Min Htun has 40 years of experience in teaching and research on the Myanmar economy.
