Daniel Gelfer is Director at Vriens & Partners Myanmar. Daniel specializes on advising clients in the healthcare, payments systems, consumer electronics, technology, and telecoms sectors. He has assisted a number of clients in designing innovative strategies to create shared value with stakeholders across government and civil society.
Daniel has been working across a number of sectors in Myanmar for the past five years. Prior to joining V&P, he worked on fundraising and grants management at a leading social enterprise focused on poverty reduction in rural Myanmar. Previously, Daniel worked at the Australian Embassy in Yangon. He has also done research, analysis, and consultancy work for a number of UN agencies in Myanmar.
He holds a B.A. in International Development Studies from McGill University and is the co-founder of the Network of Canadians in Myanmar. Daniel speaks conversational Burmese.
