Daniel Gelfer

Daniel Gelfer is Director at Vriens & Partners Myanmar. Mr Gelfer has been working across a number of sectors in Myanmar for the past four years. Most recently, he has headed up fundraising and grants management at a leading social enterprise working on poverty reduction in rural Myanmar. Previously, Mr Gelfer worked at the Australian Embassy in Yangon. He has also done research, analysis, and consultancy work for UN agencies including IOM and UNFPA, media, and a number of research and consultancy firms. Mr Gelfer is the co-founder of the Network of Canadians in Myanmar. He holds a B.A. in international development studies from McGill University. Mr Gelfer speaks conversational Burmese.
