FCA Singapore: Myanmar’s Political and Economic Awakening
What are the political and economic changes underway and the current realities on the ground in Myanmar? Following Myanmar’s recent by-elections, Aung San Suu Kyi will lead the largest opposition group in the Lower House, though with less than 10% of the total seats. What is behind the changes, the role of sanctions and Myanmar’s future position in the region?
The FCA will be organizing a briefing session on the situation there with one of our own members, Hans Vriens, Managing Partner, Vriens & Partners. His firm, which has 9 people on the ground, has recently published an in-depth report on the political and economy of Myanmar.
The session will start sharply at 2pm and last one hour.
